A fully residential Public School for boys, Sawan Public School was set up in 1974 by the S.J. Jindal Trust. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education the school offers the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary School Examinations of standards 10 and 12 respectively.
The aims and objectives of the school as laid down by the S.J. Jindal Trust are similar to those of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Institutions in India and abroad, as both draw their inspiration from the traditional Indian Gurukula system. To augment this congruity, Sawan Public School was in April 1993 gifted in totality to the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The school has henceforth been known as “Bhavan's Sawan Public School.”
Located about 12 kms. from Qutab Minar on the Bhatti Mines Road near Radha Swami Satsang Beas, the school offers English medium education from classes IV to XII. The school session extends from April to March and is divided into two terms-April to November and December to March.
